Great Games Galore is designed to be an open-ended kit to build creativity and explore ideas. Students will find unending game making possibilities. Teachers may have the children select a game type or they may assign a game type based on students’ academic needs. As the students play the games, they are naturally integrating the use of reading, writing, and math skills.
This Kids’ Kit offers several learning opportunities and skill options. As students design their own questions, problems and game solutions, they participate in a guided brainstorm, work in teams or groups to determine what designs and drawings are needed and complete game idea question sheets.
Once it is time to make their game, students have used a combination of skills to create a fun experience for their peers. Ready, set, let’s play!
