How I Became a Pirate, provides students with the treasure hunt of a life time! Students will explore pirates, and delve into their pirate level creativity, making items that will transform them to the days of pirates. Since no pirate is complete without a pirate hat and eye patch, students start their pirate study making these items. That is just the beginning of the fun. Students will design their own pirate flag, choosing their personal pirate symbol. Students can retell their stories over and over again with the hard covered book they will make and illustrate. Also, no pirate adventure is complete without a treasure hunt. The “gold doubloons” that come with the kit can be hidden in the area for students to locate.
